![]() They all had Boost trampoline socks on but on arrival we were told we had to purchase Flip Out ones for health and safety reasons. I had 5 kids with me at £12 a head which is quite expensive but a birthday treat. They can take the money easily enough but not able to refund when they fail to deliver. Whist it is not much money, the poor customer service is very annoying. The manager took my phone number and card last 4 digits of my card and said she would look on their records and sort it out and call me to tell me when it was done. It was now over half an hour since I ordered and paid for coffee that I hadn’t received. I asked for cash back but was told they couldn’t do that. The machine didn’t work so a second machine was fetched, this wouldn’t credit back so the manager took my card number (it was the card associated with Apple Pay but I hadn’t used that card but Apple Pay). It took a while for the manager to come, who said she couldn’t give cash back but would get a machine to credit my Apple Pay. They said that they would get a manager to sort it out. I said that I hadn’t had it and would like to cancel the order and asked for my money back (£5.50). After 15 minutes I still hadn’t got my coffee so when I chased it up I was told it had been taken to a table. I paid by Apple Pay and said that I would wait by the counter to collect it as we were sitting by the viewing area. Whilst she was enjoying the trampolines I went to buy my wife and me a coffee. We will never go to Flip Out again, and nor will any of the friends who attended this weekends party. They were unwilling to even compensate the children with a Flip Out pass to attend at another time when the weather, and hence venue, is not scorching. I tried to complain about the issues to Flip Out management, but have been met with a barrage of excuses, and inaccuracies. Overall this was the worst party venue we have ever used/been to. No apology or even acknowledgement was made of the appalling conditions. Whilst I acknowledge the country was at the start of a heatwave this is a venue for children's activity, and as such it is not good enough to allow it to overheat so badly. This resulted in all of the children in attendance overheating, and one child becoming unwell. There is no air conditioning, just a handful of fans dotted around what is an extremely large venue. We held a children's party at Flip Out this weekend. In similar cases at other trampoline centres, we have either been offered the option to join the next session or they have allowed then to stay on to make up the time. Socks were purchased and my girls went to this point it was 10 mins into a session caused by a delay registering getting in.Īt the end of the session, my girls were called off five minuted before the end of this hour meaning in total they got just 45 mins of the 1 hour we paid for. A comment was made that it was somehow our fault, not sure how this was the case. This one had a bar code and reference on that allowed then to track our details. At this point, another member of the team went back to the tablet we used and was able to force it to print the missing parts. She then asked if we had the other receipts, we only got a single piece of paper. Various combinations of names, surnames etc were tried and even after help from one of her colleagues they still could not find our details. We handed them our receipt but unfortunately, the girl on the desk could not find the details we literally just registered with on your tablets. Having registered and paid £14 each for our 1 hr session we then went to the desk to check-in.
